Interpac secures United States patent for its cold corrugation process

Interpac is about to secure a patent for its revolutionary cold corrugation process in the United States.

The move means that only Interpac can offer US sheet convertors solutions using cold corrugation - the transformative steam-free board manufacturing process that cuts costs and emissions.

Patent number US-20240300204-A1 - entitled 'A method and apparatus for manufacturing corrugated paperboard' - was submitted in March 2022 by Interpac managing director Charles Smith to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and published in September 2024.

The recent granting of a Patent Notice of Allowance by the USPTO indicates that the patent application has been approved and is ready to grant when all the fees have been paid.  This is excellent news for Interpac as it accelerates its sales expansion into the US market.
